To get a business up and running: It means to start a business and to get it to a point where it can support itself.
Self-Employment: Not working for an employer but finding work for yourself or having your own business.
Ex 1." Most of the population would like to work as Self-Employment"
Ex 2: "She gave up everything She had to live at the beach and work as Self-Employment"
