Colin Andrew Firth is an english film, television, and stage actor. He gained wide public attention in the 1990s for his "Mr. Darcy" in the television adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice". Fifth had a supporting role in "The English Patient", and since then, he has starred films such as "Shakespeare in Love", "Bridge Jones´s Diary", "Love Actually", "Hope Springs", "Girl with a Pearl Earring", "Where The Truth Lies", "Mamma Mia!", and others.

Last year, her received and Academy award for Best Actor for his portrayal of king George VI in "The King´s Speech", a performance that also won him the Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor.
